About the event
We’re excited to invite you to VABASC's Hike at the beautiful Mount Wilson Trail in Sierra Madre. Please join us for a refreshing outdoor adventure as we celebrate wellness, connect with one another, and enjoy the beauty of nature together.
This trail has recently reopened to the public after being closed due to the Los Angeles fires, making this a meaningful time to return to support our local trails, and appreciate the resilience of our natural spaces.
This is a casual, group outing open to all experience levels. Dogs and Cats are WELCOME but must be on a leash. However, note that this is a very narrow and hike that may be difficult for larger dogs.
We will meet at 9AM at 167 E Mira Monte Ave. Street parking is available nearby for free.
The hike is challenging, with an estimated duration of 2 hours and approximately 400m elevation gain.
Please come prepared with a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and proper hiking shoes. Bring at least one bottle of water, and hiking sticks if helpful. The trail is narrow in most areas, has limited shade, and may be slippery at times, so proper footwear and caution are important.
If you have any questions, please contact Rebecca Yuan.
