Vietnamese American Bar Association of Southern California
MISSION
The Vietnamese American Bar Association of Southern California (VABASC) is dedicated to supporting the professional growth, connection, and advancement of Vietnamese American attorneys and members of the broader legal community.
VABASC provides opportunities for networking, mentorship, professional development, and fellowship while fostering meaningful relationships among attorneys, judges, law students, and community members. We also promote collaboration with other minority bar associations and legal organizations, support community service initiatives, and provide a forum for thoughtful engagement on legal, social, economic, and other issues affecting our members and the communities we serve.
Through our programs, events, and partnerships, VABASC works to strengthen the Vietnamese American legal community and promote greater connection, leadership, and service throughout Southern California.
STATUS
VABA of Southern California is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions or gifts to VABA of Southern California are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. However, membership dues and other payments may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses, subject to applicable limitations. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax treatment of any payment to VABA of Southern California.
