Andy Tran

An Thien (Andy) Tran is an Associate at Manning & Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez, Trester.  He is a member of the Retail, Restaurant & Hospitality and Sports & Entertainment teams.

 

Before Manning Kass, Andy was an associate at an AmLaw 100 firm, representing clients in complex healthcare litigation.  His litigation experience also includes representing and advising municipalities on regulatory and public policy issues.  He was also a staff attorney for the largest, pro bono nonprofit in Orange County, where he represented low-income individuals and families in appealing the denial of their social security benefits and petitioning for conservatorships.

 

Andy graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and the American University Washington College of Law.  In Washington D.C., he served under the Obama administration for the United States Department of Justice, United States Department of the Treasury, and Federal Communications Commission.  He also clerked for Asian Americans Advancing Justice.  In law school, Andy was an Articles Editor for the Administrative Law Review and Editor in Chief for The Modern American Law Brief.

 

He is published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal, Orange County Lawyer Magazine, and Administrative Law Review.  He currently serves on the board for VABASC and as general counsel to Project by Project.
