Andy Tran

Public Law Center, Santa Ana, CA

Andy is a Staff Attorney in the Health Unit at the Public Law Center, litigating social security appeals and conservatorships and advocating for health equity for low-income, Orange County residents.  He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley (B.A.) and American University Washington College of Law (J.D.).  He completed his Executive Education studies at the Yale School of Management in Healthcare Management.

 

Before joining PLC, Andy was an Associate to the City Attorney of Baldwin Park, Robert N. Tafoya, and an Associate at Peterson Bradford Burkwitz LLP, litigating medical malpractice lawsuits and defending public entities against labor and employment claims.  In law school, he served under the Obama Administration for the United States Department of Justice, the United States Department of the Treasury, the United States Mint, and the Federal Communications Commission.  He also clerked for Asian Americans Advancing Justice, AAJC and served as an Articles Editor for the Administrative Law Review and the Editor in Chief for The Modern American Law Brief.
