FEED OUR COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER

 

As our communities start to reopen, let us not forget the many families who have been impacted by this pandemic.

 

During these unprecedented times, VABASC challenged our members to participate in the Feed our Community Fundraiser, benefiting the OC Food Bank in Garden Grove, California.  We promised to make an initial pledge of $1,000.00, and match all donations up to an additional $2,000.00.  

 

We are proud to announce that VABASC will be donating $6,540.00 to the OC Food Bank.

The Vietnamese American Bar Association of Southern California (VABASC or VABA of Southern California) is an association of attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students, providing a network for its members and affiliates with practice settings ranging from solo practices to large firms, corporations, legal services organizations, non-profit organizations, law schools, and governmental agencies.

Congratulations to our Scholarship Recipient!

VABASC congratulates Tina Tran, recipient of the Liem H. Do & Associates Scholarship.  Tina is currently attending U.C. Hastings College of Law, and previously clerked for the Orange County Public Defender, the San Francisco Public Defender, and the Alameda Public Defender's offices.  Tina delivered a heartwarming acceptance speech at our Installation Dinner in October.
